As we bask in the warm glow of a summer sun here in Kinloch Rannoch, there probably aren’t that many people looking forward to the autumn month of October. For those gearing up for 2017’s Rannoch Marathon however, it can’t come soon enough.
With just three months to go until they take on the challenge of a lifetime, those runners will be heading into their final preparations, all in readiness to tackle the gruelling 26.2 mile course.
A tradition dating back well over a century, the Rannoch Highland Gathering has been one of the most anticipated events of the year among the team here at our Kinloch Rannoch hotel.
So you can probably imagine how excited we are now that there’s only a month to go before the event makes its big return for 2017.
