What is it?

Visitors to this year’s Enchanted Forest will be transported into an immersive outdoor experience which combines a kaleidoscope of vivid colours with inspirational original music. Accompanied along the way by Beira, Goddess of Winter, you’ll discover the mellow croak of the forest frogs, and the gentle whisper of butterfly wings, as you make your way towards the natural, spectacular crescendo, celebrating the harmony and power of nature at the heart of the ancient wood.

Attracting over 60,000 visitors each year, the wonderful Enchanted Forest is part performance, part family entertainment, creating a truly magical night guaranteed to capture the hearts and imaginations of kids and grownups alike.

Wander through the forest to a series of choreographed sound and light shows, a mesmerizing orchestral score, and experience a unique atmosphere in the incredible surroundings provided by the natural woodland habitat.  There are captivating storytelling sessions for children, mouth-watering food outlets, and delicious hot drinks to keep you warm.

Where is it?

Renowned as the best light and sound event anywhere in Scotland, the Enchanted Forest is hosted at Faskally Wood, less than 40 minutes away from the Dunalastair Hotel Suites’ luxury boutique holiday accommodation in Kinloch Rannoch.  Shuttle busses are provided between Pitlochry and the forest.

When is it?

This stunning event runs every evening from late September through October and November.
