The building work is complete, the last few flourishes are being added to the decor, and the bookings are rolling in. With a little under three months before the Dunalastair Hotel Suites opens its doors on April 10th, the team offer us the latest update on the final stages of the venue’s multi-million-pound renovation project.
As the days draw ever closer to our big opening this Easter, you would perhaps be forgiven for believing that things may have started to slow down a little behind the scenes of our big refurbishment.
Surely all that could possibly be done to make ours the premier boutique hotel in Scotland has already been done?
Surely all our spacious, luxury hotel suites have been adorned in all that premium quality Egyptian cotton bedding we had imported just before Christmas?
Surely all that’s left to do now is to throw open the doors, welcome our first guests, and go all out to ensure their Highland experience is as memorable as it is magical?
Not quite.
On Schedule for Our Boutique Hotel’s Grand Opening on April 10th
Whilst we are certainly on course to welcome the Dunalastair Hotel Suite’s first guests on April 10th, there is still some work to be done to ensure that everything is absolutely, 100% perfect.
Yes, our luxury hotel suites are now fully finished and are all available for booking. Yes, our interior designers have done a wonderful job in adding a fresh, modern feel to every room and public space, and yes, we’re sure that many would consider our hotel as it stands to be good enough.
Yet here’s the thing; we don’t believe in settling for good enough, nor we do we believe our guests should either.
In order for us to be happy that we really do offer the finest quality of boutique hotel accommodation in Scotland, every last little detail has to be just right.
These final few months now give us a little breathing room to ensure that they are by testing everything out, and by tweaking and fine-tuning things were appropriate.
What’s Next?
Over the next couple of weeks, there will be some exciting additions to the Dunalastair Hotel Suites renovation project, additions which include:
A Brand New eConcierge Service
For the past several months, we have been working hard behind the scenes to fine-tune and perfect our eConcierge system. This high-tech, in-room service not only offers a range of information about local amenities and attractions, but also enables guests to access a range of hotel services, such as ordering freshly cooked meals which will then be delivered directly to the door of their luxury hotel suites.
After an extensive trial run, we are now confident that we have got the eConcierge system working in such a way that it will add genuine value and convenience to our guests’ stay. The fully working system is now set to be fully integrated into our boutique hotel suites, and will then undergo finally testing before April 10th.
Monadh Dining
Anyone visiting our website over the past several weeks will have likely already noted that the former Stables Cafe is now Monadh Dining.
We’ve also added an extra hour onto the opening time. This is our way of offering our guests more to time relax, unwind, and dig into some truly delicious dishes, prepared using the freshest of locally-sourced ingredients.
Speaking of delicious food, in a few weeks, the Monadh Dining team have invited us to dinner, where we will be among the first to sample the menu. We won’t be the only ones either. Joining us for dinner will be several culinary experts from across the Scottish Highlands, who will be on hand to offer their feedback and help us to ensure that the food our guests enjoy is among the best in Scotland.
As April 10th draws ever closer, we’ll have more updates and announcements on how things are progressing behind the scenes. To be among the very first to hear those announcements, join us on Facebook or Twitter.
Until then, all that’s left for us to do, is to invite you to come and join us for our grand opening. You can book your stay at the Dunalastair Hotel Suites directly via our website, or call to speak to our team on +44 (0)1882 580444.
