Here’s a few more:
Celebrate Hogmanay in the Heart of the Scottish Highlands
Few places on Earth can match Scotland when it comes to celebrating New Year’s Eve whether it’s the drama and grandeur of the Viking reenactments in honor of our Norse ancestors who first brought Hogmanay celebrations to these shores back in the 8th and 9th centuries or the legendary Torchlit Procession which regularly attracts crowds of over 40,000 people, this one country that takes December 31st seriously.
For some, it’s all about dancing the night away, for others it’s all about the fireworks and a fun-filled night of revelry. In contrast, others still prefer more subdued traditions such as first-footing and, of course, engaging in a good old fashioned sing-along of Auld Lang Syne, penned by Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns.
Here at the multi-award winning Dunalastair Hotel Suites, we give the festivities an added touch of luxury by treating every aspect of your Hogmanay staycation with the kind of commitment to quality and attention to detail that has made us one of the leading five-star hotels in Scotland.
Our two and three-night packages guarantee a Hogmanay like no other, with welcome drinks, a five-course meal, and of course, our award-winning hotel suites that combine the pinnacle of comfort and elegance into one exceptional package.
Planning for Hogmanay 2020
Given how synonymous Scotland is with New Year’s Eve, it should come as no surprise to learn that events tend to sell out in record time.
Things are no different here at the Dunalastair Hotel Suites. Along with Christmas, Hogmanay remains one of our busiest times of the year.
Year after year, our staycation packages prove so popular that when our guests come down to join us for breakfast on the final day of their stay, they often stop off at reception first to rebook so that they’re all set to celebrate the following New Year’s eve in the same five-star Highland style.
